During these unpredictable spring days, dumpling making is a superb time waster on a Sunday afternoon. They are also an excellent way of putting children to work. Often when I get home from the kitchen, the last thing I want to do is roll my sleeves up and start the whole thing again, but somehow, I'll never tire of making dumplings. I find the process rather soothing.
