It's usual for a wine's back story to be based around a strong connection to a place. Wet Jacket Wines does that, though with a difference. You won't find any vines in Fiordland's Wet Jacket Arm. What you will find is an achingly beautiful spot. You may also come across Greg Hay's heart. It's as large as a Fiordland moose (though far more real) and it seldom leaves this part of New Zealand. When it does it only goes as far as Central Otago.
