Restaurant review: Tamarind joins the south Indian taste revolution

In mid-November I wrote a rave review of Keralan restaurant Southern Spices. I was a fan of the largely vegetarian South Indian cuisine and its use of fermented rice batter and coconut to bring a twist to what most Kiwis think of as Indian food.
