OPINION: Caffeine has been a dear friend of mine for decades. Delivered via steaming cups of strong coffee laced with glugs of full-fat milk and spoonfuls of sugar, it has seen me through university exams and boring meetings and every single work assignment ever, and formed the centrepiece of all my favourite social events. (I'm not a raver, I'm a bruncher.)
