Entire stock of Nelson store Tree Children up for auction

Sitting in the main hallway of Wills Auction house is a mini replica pirate ship and an open chest of treasure. Inside are spray painted wooden blocks along with tin foil silver coins.

There is a giant oystershell complete with a scale fake pearl. There are dozens of knitted felt fairies, carved wooden mushrooms, bongo drums, didgeridoos and ornate ceramic cups.

Front and centre is an old red phone box with two mannequins inside. On the window it says: "Tree Children is currently under constructions ... we will be back soon."

The thousands of items sitting in the auction house are all there in the wake of the Nelson business's failure. The store was known for its quirky hand-knitted dolls and a venue the former owner, Sara Raider, hoped might bring a little bit of magic into people's lives.
