Geraldine lies in the enviable location at the heart of MacKenzie country in the South Island. If it isn't known through association to popular fruit cordial, "Barker's of Geraldine", then it will be known, mostly to tourists and travellers working their way down to Central Otago, as a great place to stop over for a coffee and a pie.
