Jordan Rondel, of The Caker, lives in a rented Ponsonby villa with her cat Wizard, her boyfriend Stefan and their friends Ben and Gina. The great-granddaughter of a Parisian pastry-chef, Jordan sells her decadent, flower-bedecked cakes online - with varieties such as the double-layer blueberry, rhubarb and white chocolate cake with vanilla bean cream cheese icing and berry coulis. She's recently opened Salon de Cake in Auckland's Karangahape Road and is also the author of The Caker: Wholesome Cakes, Cookies and Desserts.
