Police officers put their converted church on the market

Police officers have one of the most stressful jobs, so it's not surprising they want to come home to a sanctuary.

But Toni and Marty Bull took the idea a little further when they bought a converted church in Waitahuna, Lawrence. Not only do they have peaceful home to live in, but with 11,200 square metres there's enough space for ducks and chooks, and there are even cows in the paddock.

Now, however, Marty Bull has left his job as a police officer in Balclutha to take up a new position with the Ministry of Social Development in Nelson. So the pair have put their church house on the market รข€“ the property is listed with Jill Wallace of Ray White Dunedin, who is based in Lawrence.
