Gardeners revel in the lushness of late spring. But many also yearn for neatness and control; a garden where the unruly monsters take a back seat and paths are edged with neat little gems that never stray out into the highway.
Goody-goody plants stay put. No one loves a goody-goody but there's the rub; they are terribly useful and not as boring as you'd think – mondo grass excepted.
