OPINION: At some point in your life you will stop working.
Hopefully, it will be at a time of your choice rather than through illness or lack of employment opportunities.
Retirement should be a time to celebrate the end of a successful working life and to look forward to the joy that comes from spending your time as you wish and with the people who are important to you.
Freedom is bliss! However, freedom by its very nature brings with it many unknowns and, with life expectancy increasing, the possibility of running out of money before the end of life is a real one.
