I've heard Floriditas pronounced variously as Floridass or Floridititas, so it's no wonder that about a decade ago the regulars settled on plain Florrie's or Flo's. These days the dowager looks as gracious as ever, with fresh lipstick and rouge to cover the stitch-marks of earthquake strengthening last September.
