Having a house that stays 20 degrees Celsius all day, all night, all winter, might seem an expensive luxury to some.
It's a temperature Kinloch resident Kim Feldborg enjoys, but because of the design of his house, it costs him next to nothing.
"We have 256sqm of living space, so it's a decent size house, but last winter, we spent $120 bucks on heating costs," he said.
Feldborg's house is a custom-built "passive house". The whole house is heated with a single electric oil fin heater, and by the warmth of its inhabitants.
