You can see Mount Taranaki from John and Jenny Pease's Hawera home… and you can also see the pyramids. Well, one pyramid – a 2m-high, turf-covered confection John knocked up about a year ago upon deciding the stretch of manicured lawn to the east of the house was looking a bit bare: "It has a wooden frame inside it and then we filled it up with earth and turfed it. And it has a sprinkler at the top." Easy.
