During nearly four decades of working in clinical dietetics and hospital food service management, I was called many names. Some like "food police" were not intended to be complimentary. I loved the misspelt "deititian" and, like most of my colleagues who were 'foodies', was flattered to think some people were referring to us as food goddesses or some such deity.
