Tyler Langerveld is prepping salads and cold dishes for 200 diners about to descend on Wellington's Dockside restaurant for lunch. He's only 19, but his talent in the kitchen has already taken him to Perth and Auckland to participate in culinary competitions. One of the top students at Wellington's Weltec culinary school out of 250, he's a rising star and one to watch, according to his chef lecturer, Scott Campbell. "He's a very modest young man who will go a long way," he says.
