PEST ALERT
White cabbage butterflies will be gathering numbers from now until autumn, laying their eggs on the undersides of brassicas (cauliflowers, cabbage, broccoli and the like). The larvae hatch about a week later and are voracious munchers of the leaves. These caterpillars are a dull green and grow up to 3cm long.
