If you've ever wondered what the house next door sold for, you now have a new way to find out.
Trade Me Property has launched a new tool that it says should make it easier to research the New Zealand property market.
Property Insights helps buyers and sellers gather detailed information about New Zealand houses.
It will offer data on more than 1.5 million New Zealand homes, including their rateable values, previous sales price, information on when the house was built and its floor size. It will also generate an estimate of the home's current value รข€“ a Trade Me Property Estimate, based on the sales of similar properties and details of listing and user activity on Trade Me.
