Recipe: Pink meringue layer berry cake

This spectacular cake comprises layers of almond sponge and delicate pink meringue, all sandwiched together with cream, jam and fresh berries and topped with pretty meringue peaks. The sponge and meringue can be made a day ahead but save the assembly of the cake until just before serving.
